MN Wild Theme Nights and Promotional Schedule 2023-24

Minnesota Wild is pricing offers on tickets for games at the Xcel Energy Center that can be enjoyed exclusively by college students. 

The franchise has a tradition of offering discounted prices for college students for their home games. Students can opt to be notified of pricing offers for College Students for the 2023/24 season when they become available.

Hockey fans in college can be notified of all the offers for the college nights as they appear by filling out this form they have made available.

After the form has been filled you can go about your days enjoying college life. The franchise will notify you of ticket offers for college students as they become available.

One thing to note is that the students must have a valid ".edu" email address to sign up for their MN Wild College Student Rush Program and cannot re-sell or transfer the tickets.

Minnesota Wild Family Pack and Giveaway

The Minnesota NHL franchise has also made Bally Sports Family Pack tickets available for select games that come with a hot dog and a soda.

The Wild has announced its giveaway schedule for the 2023/24 season which includes items to be distributed for all fans. They include team calendars, Magnet schedules, LED Rally Towels, Playing Cards, LED Light Bulbs, Winter hats, Leather Journals, and team posters. 

They will be giving away Holiday Ornaments on 16 December 2023, for the first 10,000 fans when they host the Boston Bruins. And on February 19, 2024, when the Wild play the Vancouver Canucks the first 3,500 kids 12 and under can get themselves a Nordy Plush toy. 

Moreover, Minnesota will be giving away the Jersey of the players back for select fans on April 18, 2024, when they host the Seattle Kraken.

MN Wild Pride Night is scheduled for March 12, 2024, when they take on the Arizona Coyotes. Tickets come with a wild-branded Pride beanie. 

The Wild will be hosting the event in support of the LGBTQIA+ community and will be making donations to the Twin Cities Pride Community.

It will be the third annual Pride Night held by the franchise at the Xcel Energy Center. The first pride night held in March 2022, featured hockey sticks with the Pride Flag and Pride-themed Jerseys worn by Players during the pregame warmups. 

The Wild had planned to don pride Jerseys during the pregame warmup of the Pride Night in March this year. However, they pulled out at the last minute and chose not to go with that Plan. 

The team did not cite a specific reason for their choice but the Executive Director of Twin Cities Pride Andi Otto mentioned that the team has continued to make contributions to the LBGTQ Youth Hockey Camp and the Twin Cities Pride Community.

Jon Merrill, the Wild defenseman expressed his confusion and distress at the NHL's Pride Night Directive via an email sent to all 32 teams.

The NHL guidelines state that "on-ice player uniforms and gear worn in warmups, official team practices and games cannot be altered to reflect "specialty" theme nights." according to the story reported first by ESPN.  

The "specialty" theme nights mentioned would not only have an effect on the Pride Night celebrations but also other theme nights such as the Hockey Fights Cancer, Military Appreciation, etc. 

The league cited the possibility of players using the tape to violate their Uniform Policy as the reason for the ban on pride tapes which was created six years ago as a way for the players to show their support for the LGBTQ+ Community.

Minnesota Wild promotional schedule for the 2023-24 season includes Hockey Fights Cancer Night, Native American Heritage Night and more.

Their promotional schedule begins with the Educator Appreciation Night dedicated to Teachers on October 19 when they host the LA Kings.

The tickets for the Educator Appreciation Night come with a Tote Bag featuring the MN Wild branding. A part of the collections from the ticket sales will be donated to the Education Minnesota Foundation by the Wild. 

On November 12, the franchise will be taking part in the fight against Cancer with Hockey Fights Cancer (HFC). They are set to play against the Dallas Stars with a part of each individual ticket sale set aside for the fight against Cancer. 

Also available on the ticket packages for HFC Night at the Minnesota Wild is the lavender Love Your Melon beanie. They encourage fans to wear lavender colors to show their solidarity in the fight against Cancer. 

America, before it was home of the Brave and land of the free was the land of the Native Americans. Minnesota will dedicate November 24 to celebrate the rich Native American Heritage. The Wild are set to play the Avalanche in the game that will be broadcast nationally on TNT. 

The Wild supporters who love Star Wars will certainly enjoy the Star Wars Night Scheduled on March 3rd, 2024 when they take on the Sharks.

The ticket packages for Star Wars night include a bobblehead featuring Matt Boldy which is named the "Boldy-Wan Kenobi" by the Wild.

Minnesota has promised Star Wars Characters to be walking the concourse on the Star Wars night. Moreover, the tickets will go by very fast.
