Dallas Stars promotional schedule for the 2023-24 season will begin on November 6 with the Military and Veterans Appreciation Night event.

Promo events for the season will be concluded with the Fan Appreciation Night on April 17 playing against the St. Louis Blues. It will also be the last regular season home game of the Stars franchise for the 2023-24 season.

A total of 6 regular season games will be played throughout their promotional events. The jerseys worn by the players during the games are auctioned off. The collected money will be spent on charities and social services.

All the NHL franchises schedule their promotional events during their home games. In some events, they even organize giveaways for their fans.

To begin the 2023-24 season with a celebration, the Stars had a 2-1 overtime victory in their opening fixture on October 13 against the Blues.

The Dallas Stars will hold Military and Veterans Appreciation Night presented by Boeing on Friday, November 6 against the Boston Bruins. Last year, the event was celebrated on Nov. 11 and the franchise hosted the San Jose Sharks at its home.

Retired U.S. Army Command Sergeant Major Gretchen Evans attended the event the previous year. The Stars will show a gesture of respect for armies and veterans and that is truly appreciable.

Dallas has scheduled the Hockey Fights Cancer (HFC) Night on November 10. HFC unites the hockey community in support of cancer patients and their families. The NY Rangers will visit Dallas to play a regular-season game.

The event is supported by players, coaches, officials, corporate partners, and fans. HFC inspires hope and courage for those who are suffering and have suffered cancer. Lavender jerseys worn by the players will be auctioned off.

The NHL and NHLPA started celebrating Black History Night in February 2019 shifting their focus from the "Hockey Is For Everyone" initiative. Dallas will welcome the New York Islanders at the American Airlines Center on February 26.

Last season, the Stars featured their former defenseman and 2-time Stanley Cup champion Trevor Daley for a ceremonial puck drop. The PNC Plaza was transformed into a Black-Owned Business Market with various local establishments.

Hispanic Heritage Night presented by Ford will be observed on March 12. Florida Panthers will visit Dallas for the match in the special event.

As part of the Hockey Is For Everyone campaign, the NHL and NHLPA celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15.

The event is mainly focused on honoring and recognizing the contributions of Hispanic and Latinx members across the hockey community.

Pride Night presented by PNC Bank is set for March 20 against the Arizona Coyotes. During the event, players will wear jerseys celebrating the LGBTQ+ community either throughout the warmups or games.

Last year, the Stars featured local figure skating pair Timothy LeDuc and Ashley Cain-Gribble for the Pride Night event, who competed at the 2022 Winter Olympics.

Likewise, Fan Appreciation Night is scheduled for April 17 and the Stars franchise will play against the Blues. The best fans will be treated with special giveaways and prizes.

We are seeing a trend in the NHL that has nothing to do directly with the sport's on-ice product. Several NHL franchises have announced plans to celebrate Pride Night events and the Stars franchise is one of them.

Dallas will observe the event on March 20 playing a regular-season match against the Coyotes. During the events, players wear jerseys marking the LGBTQ+ community during warmups and or games.

Some of the NHL teams canceled their plan to celebrate Pride Nights after being made public the previous season.

During the last season, the Minnesota Wild scheduled the event on March 7. However, the players didn't wear the special Pride Night jerseys that had been designed for the event.

Last season, the Stars hosted the Seattle Kraken on March 21 while celebrating the event. Dallas players wore special Pride-themed jerseys during warmups. The fans who reached the arena early also received a Pride bucket hat.

Though the NHL franchises have made the Pride Night events in their schedule, the events will reportedly be canceled.

The NHL has issued a notice against on-ice theme night gear, stopping the franchises from having players wear rainbow sweaters or use multicolored tape on sticks during Pride Night events.

Some of the players including the Flyers defenseman Ivan Provorov and Sharks goaltender James Reimer declined to participate in their clubs' Pride Night celebrations in the previous season.

Observing the signs from the past, the NHL took this step to avoid all the possible difficulties in the future. In such a condition, there is no certainty about the Stars Pride Night event.

Dallas Stars Fan Appreciation Night and Takeaways

The Stars are all set to celebrate the Fan Appreciation Night on April 17. Dallas will play against St. Louis Blues at the American Airlines Center.

Jamie Benn, Roope Hintz, and Tyler Seguin are some of the best players in the league and Stars fans are desperate to watch their blazing performance.

Also, Craig Smith has started his first season with the Stars this season. He played for the Capitals, Bruins, and Predators in his past NHL career.
