Where Is The Carolina Hurricanes Stadium Located?
The Carolina Hurricanes stadium is located at 1400 Edwards Mill Road, Raleigh, North Carolina 27607. PNC Arena was formerly called RBC Arena.
It is near the North Carolina State Fairgrounds and North Carolina State University campus. The stadium is owned by Centennial Authority. They own the arena building and the surrounding 80 acres.
Several restaurants are available near the arena, including The Players Retreat, The Cowfish, Gonza Tacos y Tequila and Backyard Bistro.
The indoor arena can be reached through the east-west transcontinental Interstate Highway, Wade Avenue, and Raleigh Beltline. While traveling to the stadium, spectators can listen to 1630 AM PNC Arena Traffic Radio for all traffic jam alerts and flow changes.
The Hurricanes hosted the 2002 Stanley Cup Playoffs and the 2009 and 2019 playoffs. The NHL franchise even hosted a draft party on the club level in the Arena Club Restaurant, Club Ledge bar.
The most attended game at the stadium was held on 14 May 2022 in a match against Boston Bruins. It had 19,513 attendees.
