Amalie Arena Bag Policy
Tampa Bay Lightning arena bag policy states that any bags between 4x6x1.5" and 12x12x12" need to undergo X-ray scanning. Smaller clutches are permitted without the scans.
The medical and parenting bags can be taken inside the venue after a proper search procedure. The venue discourages the audience to carry large bags and backpacks.
Amalie Arena rules restrict the entry of audio and video recording equipment and weapons. Outside food and beverages are also not allowed.
Some other items that are prohibited from the venue are as follows:
- Large chains and spikes
- Sharp objects like sticks or poles
- Bottles, cans, and other containers
- Fireworks
- Pepper spray
- Folding Chairs
- Wrapped gifts
- Noisemakers and horns
- Large banners with objectionable signs or language
- Laser pointers
- Weapons of any sort (applied for Law Enforcement officials attending as a guest)
Amalie permits 'point-and-click' cameras during concerts. In NHL games, audiences can bring cameras with less than 6 inches lens and iPads.
The spectators are not allowed to cover their entire faces inside the space. If the audiences leave the arena, they are restricted from re-entering for safety reasons.
Children under two years of age get free admission till they sit on their parent's lap. Likewise, all service animals are allowed into the space.
Smoking tobacco and e-cigarette devices are prohibited in the venue. However, there are designated spaces like Ford Thunder Alley for the purpose.
Umbrellas can be taken into the space. However, it should be closed and kept under the seat. The tickets should be authentic and purchased from verified sellers.
