Tim Hortons Trade Night event for 2023 was celebrated on Thursday, October 2. The next Trade Night is going to take place on October 9.

The card collectors can gather at Tim Hortons during Trade Nights and trade cards with each other. Hockey card fans can find a Golden Collect to Win Prize Card with every purchase of a pack of cards.

Purchase NHL Trading card packs, unwrap the pack, and look for a Golden Collect to Win Prize Card for a chance to win prizes.

50,000x coffee, tea, and donut prizes and 200x $50 Tim Cards prizes are redeemable in the restaurant.

Other Tim Hortons prizes include 50x Sportsnet+ subscriptions, 20x EA SPORTS NHL 24 & Xbox Series S prize packages, and 20x Esso NHL Road Trip.

4 winners can win a Trip to the 2024 Stanley Cup, for which airfare, accommodations, and tickets for 2 to a 2024 Stanley Cup Final game will be covered.

One lucky winner will get a VIP trip to watch an NHL game and meet Sidney Crosby. Airfare, accommodations, and tickets for 2 will be managed to watch an NHL game.

Tim Hortons Hockey Cards Trade Night 2023 Schedule

Tim Hortons hockey cards trade night for 2023 has been scheduled for November 2 and 9 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A single Tim Horton pack costs $1.99 in Canada.

On Thursday night, the card collectors flocked to Tim Hortons Quick Service Restaurants across Canada for the first Tim Hortons Hockey Card Trade Night. More than 300 stores from coast to coast hosted the event.

The next Hortons Card Trade Night will take place on the evening of Thursday, November 9.

Hockey Card Trade Nights are designed to connect the community over their shared love of hockey. The program also helps collectors complete their hockey card sets.

The Trade Nights bring Hockey Card collectors together. They get to celebrate the upcoming hockey season, trade cards with one another, and talk hockey.

Tim Hortons Restaurant Owners usually run fun trivia games during Trade Nights. Winners of the games are subject to win prizes like an autographed and framed Sidney Crosby picture.

NHL Trading Cards can be purchased in person at Tim Hortons restaurants and through the Tims app. Cards are $1 with any beverage purchase excluding espresso shots. They cost $1.99 without a beverage.

Employees, representatives, or agents are ineligible for the Trade Night events. They can't participate or win a prize in the Trade Nights. The rule is also applicable to those domiciled with any such employee, representative, or agent.

Tim Hortons Hockey Cards 2023-24

Tim Hortons hockey cards were released on October 2, 2023. The campaign will end on  November 13, or once all card packs have been distributed, whichever occurs first.

1. Connor McDavid 2015 Upper Deck “The Cup” Rookie Patch Autograph Card

During the 2022 Heritage Auction, McDavid's 2015 Upper Deck The Cup Rookie Patch Autograph card was sold for $228,000 closing the auction. Only two copies of the cards in a PSA 10 grade were available.

At just 26 years old, McDavid has been a two-time NHL MVP player. Though he's not won any Stanley Cups, McDavid has appeared in several pivotal playoff series.

McDavid has scored 100+ points each season since his first full season in 2016-17 except in the Covid-19-shortened 2019-20 season. Last season, he led the league in goals and assists amassing 153 points.

2. Wayne Gretzky 2004 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection NHL Shield Patch Autograph Card

A game-used rare Gretzky shield was sold at $145,000. One of his 1979 O-Pee-Chee hockey cards sold for $3.75 million in May 2021.

The Great One Gretzky is widely regarded as the greatest ice hockey player by sportswriters, players, and the NHL itself. The legendary player played in the NHL for the Edmonton Oilers, Los Angeles Kings, St. Louis Blues, and New York Rangers.

Gretzky is the only NHL player to total over 200 points in a single season, and he accomplished that feat four times.

In a total of 20 professional seasons played in total, he accumulated 100+ points in 15 seasons, consecutively in 13 seasons.

3. Sidney Crosby 2005-06 Upper Deck “The Cup” Rookie Patch Autograph Card

Crosby’s “The Cup” rookie patch auto card was sold via eBay on 2/26/2019 for $80,287 as reported by GoldinAuctions, making it one of the most valuable upper deck cards.4

Also, Crosby's jersey from his third NHL game was sold for $21,010 in an auction for Hurricane Katrina relief. His first NHL all-star jersey went for $47,520 in an auction for Hockey Fights Cancer.

An active player of the Pittsburgh Penguins in the NHL, Crosby was selected by the Penguins franchise in the 2005 NHL Draft as the first overall pick.

Crosby became the Stanley Cup champion with the Penguins in 2009 and back-to-back in 2016 and 2017.
