Glimpse Of NHL Tonight Hosts and Commentators 2024

NHL Tonight Hosts are Jamison Coyle, Jamie Hersch, and Tony Luftman. Analysts for the show include Steve Konroyd, Mike Johnson, Billy Jaffe, and Scott Hartnell.

The show airs nightly at 6:00 PM Eastern Time. The show features real-time scores, breaking news, live look-ins, and expert analysis from a roster of analysts that includes multiple NHL veterans. 

The show has been on the air since 2011 and was known as NHL on the Fly: when it was initially aired. The hosts are alternated to avoid scheduling conflicts with other programs on the network. 

Jamison has been with the network since 2015 and appears on the NHL Network's flagship show as the host. He also covers the Stanley Cup Final, the NHL Draft, and other programs on the network. 

Another 2015 addition to the Network is Jamie Hersch who hosts "On The Fly", the Network's Recap show along with her appearances on Tonight, and covers special events as a reporter for the network.

NHL Tonight Commentators 2023-24

'NHL Tonight Commentators 2023-24 includes hosts Jamison Coyle, Jamie Hersch, and Tony Luftman with a revolving roster of analysts included in the panel.

Coyle worked for NESN before joining the NHL Network in 2015. He worked as the studio anchor, reporter, and main host for the pregame, postgame, and intermission shows for hockey broadcasts of the Network. 

In addition to that, he was also responsible for hosting the following shows:

The New York Native graduated from Syracuse University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science, Broadcast Journalism, and a Bachelor of Applied Science, Economics degree. He began his television career as a Sports Anchor/ Reporter in 2006  with the WDNN-TV where he worked for a year.

An NHL personality who joined the Network in the same year as Coyle is "On The Fly" host Jamie Hersch. She appears on several shows for the NHL and the MLB Networks and works as a reporter covering special events like the Stanley Cup Finals and the All-Star Game. 

The Minnesota Native covered the Minnesota Wild for the Fos Sports North(now known as Bally Sports North)before she joined the Network. She graduated from the University of California magna cum laude in 2009. 

Like Hersch another host hat makes appearances on multiple shows and covers special events for the Network is Tony Luftman. Luftman's broadcast experience in addition to covering the NHL includes the MLB, NBA, NFL, MMA, WWE, and college sports. 

Th Los Angeles California, native graduated from UCLA with a degree in history. During his college years, he spent 4 seasons as the Bruins Basketball team manager and two summers USA Basketball team Manager. 

NHL Tonight Cast And Crew

NHL Tonight Cast includes analysts Scott Hartnell, Bill Lindsay, Mike Parrish, Dave Reid, Mike Rupp, Kevin Weeks, Ken Dayenko, Kendall Coyne Schofield, and more.

NHL Network analyst Jaffe works as the studio analyst for NESN and Sportsnet. Before joining the Network, he served as the college hockey analyst on the Big Ten Network.

His broadcast experience includes his work with the MSG Network, where he won an NY Emmy for his outstanding work as an analyst for the New York Islanders.

The show has a rich roster of talents appearing as analysts, which includes former NHL veterans, some of whom have more than a decade of playing experience.

The US Olympic gold medalist and 5-time World Champion appears on various shows across the Network. She gained international fame for her performance in the 2019 SAP NHL All-Star Skills "Bridgestone NHL Fastest Skater."

The Northeastern University graduate won the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award given to the top player in Womer's College Hockey in 2016. She began playing professionally with the Minnesota Whitecaps in 2016 and most recently was signed by the Minnesota PWHL team.

A 2012 NHL All-Star, Hartnell has been appearing on the NHL Network as an analyst since 2019. He has played 1,249 games in his 17 seasons in the NHL and holds the Nashville Predators' franchise record for the fastest two goals at 23 seconds.

Former New Jersey Devils defenseman Dayenk was nicknamed "Mr. Devil" by the fans and worked as the color analyst on MSG Sportsnet for New Jersey Devils games alongside play-by-play host Bill Spaulding. 

The Windsor, Ontario, native, drafted by the Devils in 1982 as the 18th overall pick, spent his whole NHL career with them, where he logged 2,516 penalty Minutes in 1,283 career regular season games. 

Former NHL goaltender Dubynk has been making appearances providing expert analysis on the NHL Network since his retirement from hockey in 2022. He was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in 2004 as the 14 overall pick.

The 2015 Bill Masterson Memorial Trophy winner is not the only goalie providing his insight for the NHL Network. Weeks, drafted by the Florida Panthers in 1993 is the first black analyst in ice hockey history.

The Toronto Ontario native also provides expert analysis on the ESPN Network. He played 348 games in the NHL with a regular season career record of 105-163-33.

Stu Grimson, Mike Johnson, Steve Konroyd, Bill Lindsay, Mike Parrish, Dave Reid, and Mike Rupp are all former NHL veterans who are analysts on the NHL Network appearing on the studio's flagship show. 

NHL Tonight on NHL Network Schedule

NHL Tonight on NHL Network is generally on air at 6:00 PM Eastern Time. On November 5, NHL Tonight airs at 2:30 PM and 7:30 AM ET
