Vegas Golden Knights have the most Canadian players in 2023. They have 20 players of Canadian origin out of 34.

Montreal Canadiens follow the Knights in the list with 19 players from the mentioned country. Similarly, Edmonton Oilers have signed a deal with 18 such athletes.

Florida Panthers and Toronto Maple Leafs rank fourth with 16 Canadian sportsmen each. Knights have chosen Mark Stone, a right winger as their captain.
