EA NHL 24 player ratings have Connor McDavid on top with an overall rating of 95. McDavid acquired a 95 rating in NHL 23 as well

The Edmonton Oilers captain has shattered his own record with 153 points in the 2022-23 season. With every season, he is becoming more progressive and reaching new heights.

Connor is entering the ninth season of his career in 2023-24. He has been on the top rank of the video game since 2018 while gracing the cover twice.

The top 20 rated NHL 24 players are:

Colorado Avalanche alternate captain Nathan MacKinnon holds the second position with 94 OVR. With his career-high points of 111 in the past season, his ranking has increased.

Auston Matthews moved up from 9th position in NHL 22 to 2nd position in NHL 23. His scoring statistics dropped by 21 points which led him to rank number 3 in NHL 24.

Cale Makar steered the Avalanche to the 2022 Stanley Cup victory and was rated 94. The defenseman is also on the covers of upcoming video game series. His new rating is also 94.

Forward Sidney Crosby is ranked 6th with an overall rating of 93. His game statistics in the former season comprise 93 points including 33 goals and 60 assists.

NHL 24 ratings update by the team has Boston Bruins in the first place. Bruins had the highest standing in the 2022-23 season with 135 points.

The team secured the President's Trophy with the assistance of players including Brad Marchand, Linus Ullmark, and David Pastrnak. Their strong defense and goaltending led to a Stanley Cup appearance as well.

The projected ranking for the teams in the NHL 24 is as follows:

Hurricanes have experienced players who build up the core strength of the team. By utilizing their talent, the team is assumed to create a drift to the second position with a 93 rating.

The third team is estimated to be the Avalanche with their extreme offensive power. The 2022 Stanley Cup champions will become unstoppable with returning players like Nathan MacKinnon and Cale Makar.

The Panthers, Lightning, and Knights have an estimated rating of 92. Knights are assumed to have the highest ranking in the upcoming series compared to other ones. It is because they won the playoff trophy in 2023. 

The lowest ranking in the upcoming video game is assumed to be of the Flyers. However, future trades and team performance can remove them from ranking in the bottom zone.

Blackhawks and Islanders have traded their star players in recent years. As a result, they are guessed to have low ranks. Though Chicago has the top draft prospect, Connor Bedard, he is not yet professional.

The assumed rating for the Jackets and Senators is 75 since the teams are in a building phase with younger players on their roster. The projected ranks are subject to change with trades.

Best goalies in NHL 24 are Andrei Vasilevskiy, Igor Shesterkin, John Gibson, Jacob Markstrom, and Connor Hellebuyuck.

Vasilevskiy is the top-rated goaltender with an overall ranking of 94 in NHL 24. The 2021 Stanley Cup Champion noted a .915 SV% and 2.65 GAA in 60 games during the 2022-23 season.

Vasileviskiy formerly competed in the Kontinental Hockey League. The upcoming season will be his ninth one in the National Hockey League.

Rangers goalie Igor Shesterkin has also made up to the list. He earned the best goalie award after completing his third season in the league.

Shesterkin has the highest .935 save percentage in the NHL during the 2021-22 season. In the past season, his statistics dropped to .916 S% and 2.48 GAA.

Juuse Saros is the goalie for the Predators with a .919 save percentage. He was on the ice for 3,810 minutes on ice throughout the 2022-23 season.

Moreover, Saros registered a record of 33-23-7 in 64 games. In 2022, he steered the Preds to qualify for the Stanley Cup Championships.

Sorokin has been consistent with his efforts in the arena. He has recorded a .924 save percentage (SV%) and a 2.34 Goals Against Average (GAA) in the 2022-23 season.

Goaltender Linus ended the former season with .938 SV% and 1.89 GAA. He put up a record of 40-6-1 and scored an empty net goal as well.

Ullmark received the Vezina Trophy as well as the William M. Jennings Trophy in 2023. He is the ninth player in NHL history to earn both trophies in the same season.

NHL 24 ratings release date is in September 2023 as per projections. The ratings for NHL 23 were released by EA Sports on 20 September 2022.

NHL 24 release date is on 6 October 2023. The new version will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Multiple features in the game have been upgraded. Crossplay is expanded so that players from the same consoles of the same generations can join teammates easily.

The teams are allowed to pick the free agents. New animations, camera angles, goal celebrations, and so on are added to give a smooth playing experience.

Avalanche defenseman Cale Makar will grace the cover of the upcoming video game. The pre-order for NHL24 will start on 3rd October, Tuesday.
