Michigan Hockey TV Schedule 2023-24 began on September 30 against Simon Fraser (EX). Big Ten Network broadcasts the Wolverines matches.

Michigan started the season with a comfortable 8-1 victory. They will play their next game against the #18 Providence on October 7 at Ann Arbor.

The University of Michigan men's ice hockey program has secured a total of 9 NCAA Tournament championships, with the latest triumph in 1998.

The Wolverines clinched the back-to-back Big Ten Tournament Championships in 2022 and 2023 and secured a place at the NCAA Frozen Four.

The University of Michigan is also one of the major contributors to the NHL. Red Berenson, Mike Cammalleri, Jack Johnson, Max Pacioretty, Quinn Hughes, and many others played for the Wolverines during their collegiate careers.

Most of the Michigan Wolverines games are broadcast on B1G+, FloHockey, NCHC.tv, Big Ten Network, Peacock, and Bally Sports Detroit.

Different games will be shown on different channels and a single game will not be available on every channel mentioned above. Very few games of the Wolverines will be also available on ESPNU, TSN2, and CW50.

Michigan Wolverines Hockey Roster

The Wolverines hockey roster includes some prominent players such as Rutger McGroarty, Gavin Brindley, Nick Moldenhauer, and others.

These players are already drafted by the NHL franchises. McGroarty was drafted 14th overall in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft by the Winnipeg Jets.

Brindley is a draftee of the Columbus Blue Jackets, who was selected in the second round of the 2023 NHL Draft. Likewise, Moldenhauer was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2022.

Rob Rassey spent a year with the Michigan Wolverines as an assistant coach before being promoted to associate head coach role in July 2023.

During his first season with the University of Michigan, Rassey helped the team to clinch the 2023 Big Ten Tournament Championship. The Wolverines made an appearance in the Frozen Four.

Previously, Rassey worked as the Head Coach of the Sioux Falls Stampede and Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League (USHL). From 2019-2021, he also served the Detroit Red Wings as an amateur scout.

The University of Michigan hired Mathew Deschamps as an assistant coach in July 2023. Ahead of his career with the Wolverines, Deschamps spent 3 seasons with the USHL's Chicago Steel.

Deschamps helped the Steel win the Anderson Cup back to back in the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons as a regular season champion. Chicago also captured the Clark Cup as playoff champion in the latter season.

Another Assistant Coach of the program for the season, Kevin Reiter worked at the USA Hockey National Team Development Program. Reiter joined the USNTDP in 2013 as a goaltending coach and was promoted to director of player personnel in 2017.

Strength and Conditioning Coach Joe Maher was hired in 2013. Previously, he worked for Yale University and the University of Richmond.

Evan Hall is named as the Director of Hockey Operations, while Brian Brewster works as the Head Athletic Trainer for the MI hockey program.

Head Coach Brandon Naurato

Naurato was named the permanent head coach of the Wolverines on March 31, 2023. He had been working on an interim basis since Aug 7, 2022.

During his first season as head coach, Naurato led the Wolverines to the Big Ten Tournament Championship and secured a berth in the Frozen Four. The team had the historic season start of 7-1.

Michigan became one of the highest-scoring offenses in the tournament despite being the youngest team in the nation and had an average of 4.17 goals per game. They ranked as the No. 2 seed in the Big Ten Tournament for two straight seasons.

Prior to his career with the Wolverines, Naruto served the NHL's Detroit Red Wings as a Player Development Consultant.

He was the owner and director of Total Package Hockey in Detroit for seven years. He started the online hockey academy for the first time in the United States.

The famous NHL players Quinn Hughes, Jacob Trouba, Zach Werenski, Dylan Larkin, and Jack Hughes have previously worked with Naurato.

Brandon himself is an alum of Michigan. He played four years at the University from 2006-09 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament each year. He recorded 32 goals and 32 assists throughout his 130 Michigan career games.
