NHL Heritage Classic Uniforms For Battle Of Edmonton
Adidas designed the jerseys for the 2023 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic. NHL and Adidas unveiled the uniforms for the Edmonton battle.
For the 2023 outdoor game, the Oilers' uniform is incited by the famed Edmonton Mercury club during their 1952 Olympics win. Similarly, the Flames' uniform is persuaded by the notable Calgary Stampeders hockey club of the '50s and '60s.
The Oilers Heritage Classic jersey 2023 features the Royal Blue and Orange eulogized by the vintage white, eliciting the vintage uniforms' aged textiles and adornments.
In addition, Adidas featured a new front crest artwork, linking the Oilers' peculiar oil drop with the vintage-incited uniform. The crest of the oil drop features the number of players.
Additionally, the uniform features only one arm to display the sleeve numbers, while the captain's mark overlaps the shoulder yoke.
Also, Adidas paid extreme attention to the details while designing the new numbers and names of the players in layered felt and the leather-like gloves and pants that recall yesteryear hockey gear.

The Calgary Flames Heritage Classic jersey 2023 features the Flames red heu commended by the vintage white. This induces the vintage uniform's aged fabric and embellishments.
Adidas featured the Flames gold only for the numbers' top stitch detailing and the word "CALGARY FLAMES" within the crest. Moreover, the artwork of the crest contributes to a hand-sketched look of the Flames' logo that is rendered in layered felt with rich chain stitch detailing.
Adidas sported the new number and names of the players in the same way to elicit sewing patterns depicted on a cowboy's blue denim jeans.
Likewise, the Flames jersey features an extended yoke, dropping extremely low on the sleeve to incorporate the sleeve number like the classic uniforms. Also, the Oilers and the Flames jerseys emblazoned "Battle of Alberta" inside the back neck to celebrate the stride.
