Terry Gannon
NBC's figure skating play-by-play commentator, Terry Gannon calls the events together with Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir.
For their commentary on NBCSN’s live figure skating coverage at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, the trio received great acknowledgment that helped NBC network to acclaim the 10 best weekday daytime audiences in its history.
In advance of his media career with the NBC Sports Group, Gannon called the NBA, WNBA, U.S. Open Championship, The Open Championship, college football, college basketball, and figure skating for ESPN.
Tara Lipinski
Lipinski works as a figure skating analyst for NBC Sports Group. She called the 2018 Olympic Winter Games and 2014 Olympic Winter Games.
Moreover, Tara is a prominent member of the announcing team during the U.S. Figure Skating Championships, the World Championships, the ISU Grand Prix Series, and the Winter Games.
Lipinski holds the record of the youngest gold medalist in the history of the Olympic Winter Games, winning it at the age of only 15 in 1998.
Johnny Weir
Weir is a U.S. Figure Skating Hall of Famer, who calls NBC Olympics’ figure skating along with play-by-play commentator Gannon and Lipinski.
He debuted as a lead analyst at the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics. Previously, Johnnu worked as a figure skating analyst for NBCSN’s coverage of the 2014 Sochi Olympics. Also, he served as a correspondent for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
In his 16-year career, Weir won consecutive U.S. titles from 2004 to 2006. He was inducted into the U.S. Figure Skating Hall of Fame in 2020.
