How Many Canadian Players On Dallas Stars? There are 9 Canadian players on Dallas Stars of the NHL in the 2022-23 season.

Dallas Stars is an expansion team of the National Hockey League. It was founded in 1967 and is currently in the 56th year of its operation.

Since its inception, Stars had a dominating number of athletes from Canada. In the inaugural season, the roster comprised one player each from the USA and Great Britain.

The remaining other 34 athletes were from Canada. However, the Stars have faced a declining rate of Canadian players on the roster over the decades.

Jake was drafted by the NHL franchise in 2017. He played two seasons each with Boston University and Texas Stars(AHL). In the current regular season, he secured a save percentage of .919.

New Jersey Devils booked Scott in the 2010 NHL Draft. In 2022, he signed a 2-year deal with the Stars and earned a save percentage of .915 in the regular season of 2022-23.

Thomas Hodges, an emergency goalie entered the rink donning Dallas Stars gear and an Anaheim Ducks jersey in the 2021-22 season.

Hodges was called after both netminders of the Ducks got injured. He joined the game in the 3rd period of the match when the game was tied at 2 scores each.

Thomas saved two out of three shots in the play. Despite his effort, Ducks lost the match but he became popular for his outstanding performance. 

Even the opponent team Dallas Stars praised Hodges. In a Twitter post, the franchise congratulated the EBUG and penned that they wished they were not playing against him.

Following his exceptional junior record, Jamie was drafted by Dallas Stars in 2007. In the initial years, he played for Kelowna Rockets and Texas Stars.

Benn debuted in the NHL for the Stars in the 2009-10 season. On 11 October 2009, he scored his first NHL goal in a game against Vancouver Canucks.

Jim was also a part of the Canadian National Team that participated in the 1980 Winter Olympics. He retired as an active player after 1991.
