WXYT (1270 AM) is licensed to Detroit, Michigan. The Radio studios are located in Southfield. WXYT is also licensed for HD Radio broadcasting in addition to a standard analog transmission.

In October 2007, WXYT started a simulcast with WKRK FM (now WXYT - FM). The radios were broadcast under the name "Detroit's Sports Powerhouse: 97.1 FM & 1270 AM."

The Red Wings are going to kick off their 2023-24 preseason against the Pittsburgh Penguins on September 26 at the Little Caesars Arena.
