Canadian sportscaster Ken Daniels calls play-by-play for the Wings on Bally Sports Detroit. He has spent 24 seasons as the voice of the Wings.
Previously, Daniels worked for CBC Sports from 1985 to 1997. The sports commentator is a long-time active member of Detroit Sports Media. In 1990, he started working as a reporter host for Hockey Night in Canada.
Mickey Redmond performs as a color analyst during the Red Wings' matches for Bally Sports Detroit. After retiring from professional playing, Redmond started his career in sportscasting.
Redmond previously worked for CBC's Hockey Night in Canada, NHL on Fox, NHL on ESPN, and more. In his playing days with the Montreal Canadiens, Redmond became the Stanley Champion in 1968 and 1969.
Chris Osgood started working as a Red Wings game and studio analyst for Fox Sports Detroit in September 2013. This role primarily includes providing analysis in the studio. Osgood also performs as a color analyst for select road games throughout the season.
As an NHL player, Osgood became a 3-time Stanley Cup champion with the Wings franchise. The former goaltender also played for the New York Islanders and the St. Louis Blues.
Larry Murphy stepped into his sportscasting career with Fox Sports Detroit as an alternate color commentator for the Wings on West Coast road trips during the early 2000s.
Murphy retired from professional playing after the 2000-01 season with the Red Wings. He spent over 20 years in the NHL as a player and became the Stanley Cup champion 3 times with the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Wings.
