Pat Verbeek formerly played ice hockey as a right winger. He played on behalf of multiple NHL teams throughout his glorious career.
Verbeek was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in 1982. He started competing during the same season. Moreover, he appeared in 1,424 regular season games and 117 playoff games.
Pat represented Devils, Hartford Whalers, New York Rangers, Dallas Stars, and Detroit Red Wings in his career of 2 decades. After retirement, he served as a part-time color commentator of Wings.
Verbeek left the position to become a scout for the club. Lightning then hired him as their assistant GM followed by the Wings. On 3 February 2022, he was named the GM of Ducks.
